Happy National Cocoa Day! Let’s grab a cup of Hot Chocolate and stay warm 🙂

Today I made these 2 cards are inspired by Hot Chocolate color and simple style.

I have this Stampin’ Up Hello December Stamp Set and the sentiment from Concord & 9th – Mittens & Mugs is just perfect macth.

I stamped the mugs using my MISTI with Chocolate Pigment Mini Ink Pad (CTMH). It is very easy to do multiple stamping with the MISTI.

A Giftcard Holder on A Card

A happy mail arrived today from Neat and Tangled that I ordered on Black Friday. And I just cannot wait to make something with the Box – Nice and Neat Die. This die is fresh out of the padded envelope and straight to my Evolution Advanced diecutting machine 🙂

I diecut the box out of Kraft cardstock and it is very easy to put it together (and fun!) Danielle showed how to create the box in a video here.

The background papers are from Old Hymnal Book and one of CTMH retired Christmas paper packet, Sparkle and Shine. I added some Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress ink on the edges. I finished the card with wrapping it with White Ribbon Twine from American Crafts and a Star wood chip from Frackled Fawn.

A simple card for a joyful giving this Christmas.

So, do you give giftcards or prefer actual gift for Christmas?

Thanks for visiting today and have wonderful day!

OCC Holiday Style Recap

This Christmas I would love to send out handmade cards to family and friends and for sure it is a challenge. I am so thankful to be able to learn some new cardmaking technique from amazing card designers at Onlice Card Classes – Holiday Style class past week.

Today I’d like to share some cards I made in the class.

Day 1: Clean And Simple Cards

OCC Holiday Style Week 1, Card 1

Day 3: Classic and Elegant Cards

OCC Holiday Card Day 3 - Classic & Elegant Card

Day 5: Cute and Whimsical Cards

I skipped this session because I do not hav any cute and whimsical stamp set but I LOVE all the tutorials from the teachers 🙂 Defiently in the future I will make some cards.

Day 7: Shimmer and Shine Cards

OCC Holiday Style Day 7 - Shimmer and Shine

Day 9: Soft and Subtles Cards

Merry Christmas Ornament Card

Day 11: 1 Stamp, 5 Ways

And in this class, the teachers amazed us with their fabulous cards by only using 1 stamp. They show us how to show the “WOW effect” from making Holiday cards this season.

I have so much to catch up with this class but in there are LOTS of gorgeous inspirations from the students as well. And I have 2 more weeks to get all cards ready to mail out.

Hope you all have an amazing weekend after Thanskgiving!

Stay Warm With A Cup Of Hot Drink

We got our first snow flurries this morning and the girls were super excited that it finally snowed. They love snow for sure. I my self love snow but not the cold 🙂

In the winter season, I keep myself warm enough. My favorite hot drinks are coffee, hot chocolate and green chinese tea. And it is the time to have them.

Today I like to share some cards I made in cold morning 🙂

This first card I created to enter:

On a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped the mugs from Mugs & Mittens stamp set (Concord & 9th) using Peacock Feather Mini Distress Ink. Then using slightly wet brush, I pulled the color from the lines. When they all dry completely, I stamped the decor on the mugs and sentiment from the same stamp set using Black Archival Ink.

I added Snowhaven paper for the background card and then added the stamped watercolor paper on it. Then I thought it still needed something, so I heat embossed the heart with Ranger™ White Super Fine Embossing Powder and fussy cut them. I added them on the mugs with 3D foam tape.

And the second card is pretty simple to make. I used the printable from Paper Issues. The pattern paper is from a fall team pad I found at Walmart. Then I added some twine with mini wooden clothespin.

I give thanks for hot drinks for sure! This card I link up at Paper Issues Link & Win – Let Me Espresso My Gratitude.

I hope you like my cards today and thank you for visiting 🙂

So, So, So, Blessed

Feather diecuts are from The Cut Shoppe. There are lots of pretty and cool cutting files there! Check them out 💕

I cut the feathers using my Silhouette Cameo. Then I dap some VersaMark ink on them and dipped them in the mix of Ranger Gold Embosing Powder, Ranger Silver Embossing Powder and Clear Glitter Embossing Powder (Darice).

Tree Ring background stamp set I used is from Concord and 9th, a new comer in the stamping world. I stamped the tree ring using Chocolate Exclusive Ink Pad with my MISTI stamping tool (love it!)

Sentiment stamp set is one of my Fall favorite sets from CTMH, Harvest Wreath. I stamped them using MISTI with VersaMark ink pad and added some Ranger White Embossing powder, then heat set it using my Craft Heater.

I finished it with twine from American Crafts.
