Poinsettia Card and Tag

Holidays season is not too far away from now… I am still working on cards and tags for friends and families.

Today I would like to share with you a card and a tag that I created using the My Monthly Hero October Kit by Hero Arts. In this kit includes the stamp set, die set, and ink pads. Hope You Can Cling To Challenge 2015

Today I am sharing cards I made for a Cancer center as my participation with Hope You Can Cling To Challenge 2015 with Splitcoaststampers forum.

I was invited by a crafty friend to the challenge last month and so thankful I was able to join and made these cards for those who are at the Cancer center and for their families, too. The real challenge is that we all actually send the cards to the center. So, these cards are on their way to the center 🙂

Caring Hearts Card Drive

Happy Saturday! And… Happy Halloween! Hopefully, you all also have a wonderful weekend with your family and doing something fun together.

Today I am popping up today wanna share something special with you. It is the Caring Hearts Card Drive. It started 6 years ago by Vera Yates. You can read all about it on her blog post.

This year, again both Jennifer McGuireink and Vera Yates host this amazing and thoughful card drive for those who are at nursing home during the Holidays.

The holidays are about family, kindness, and joy. During this time many of the elderly who lives in nursing homes would really feel the loneliness or missing their family. Wouldn’t it be so awesome if we can bring a smile to their face & brighten their holiday season simply by sharing our love of card making? A simple gesture to let them know that they are not forgotten. That someone still thinking of them.

Don’t you agree with what Vera said above? Sending handmade cards to them is you sharing the joy and sending them love from your family to them at the nursery homes, away from their families during the Holidays.

Merry Everything: A Christmasy Coffee Cup Card

Christmas is 2 months away. I started my Holiday cardmaking adventure since September. Today, I’d like share a fun card for coffee loving friends 🙂

First, using my Silhouette Cameo, I cut the kraft cup shaped card from Juliana Michaels. It is a free cutting file – download here.

I use CTMH October Stamp of The Month: Twinkle (S1510). I stamped the lights using Black exclusive inks stamp pad and colored them using Faber-Castell Mix & Match pencil colors.

I stamped the circle stars slightly at the bottom corner card using White Daisy exclusive ink pad to create a background for the label tag. But I felt like it needed something. Then randomly stamoed the mini stars all over the card with White ink pad, too.

On a piece White Daisy cardstock, I stamped the tag label and sentiment using Cranberry exclusive inks stamp pad and the fussy cut around it. I finished my card with neutral baker’s twine and some clear gemstones.

This SOTM Twinkle (S1510) is D-sise stamp set that you can get it only $5 with qualifying order of $50 or more during the month of October.
