Hello hello hello… I don’t know about you, but we counting down to Christmas here in our house. The little ones are getting SUPER EXCITED and don’t stop singing all kind of Christmas songs. It is such a joyful season for sure!

My Christmas card today is a watercolored Christmas card using this beautiful Poinsettia Greetings Stamp Set from Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps. I love the big poinsettia flower from this stamp set and also all the sentiments.

I stamp the poinsettia flower image on a 140 lbs watercolor paper with Golden Glitz Delicata Ink Pad and MISTI. This ink is soft and give extra metallic gold look. I dried this pigment ink with craft heater.

I colored the flower with Sakura Koi Watercolor and waterbrush. It turned out to be a little bit like no-line coloring which I did not expect that… But I like it. I dried the whole image again with craft heater.

After watercoloring, I added extra splatters on it with Finetec Gold Palette Watercolor and waterbrush. I used the gold and silver. I dried it again with craft heater.

I stamped the sentiment on a black cardstock with the Golden Glitz Delicata ink pad and added some clear embossing powder on it while the ink still wet. I heat set it with craft heater and then trimmed it into sentiment strip.

I trimmed the watercolored poinsettia panel to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and added it directly on top of a white card with EZ Grand Adhesive Runner and then I added the sentiment with 3D foam tape. And, I embellished this card with the red ribbon bow on top of the card.
