Let’s gather all your coffee/tea/cocoa supplies and get crafty for this fun blog hop and link up party. It will be so much fun, lots of inspirations, and also… TONS OF PRIZES to win from Super Sponsors!!!
My card for this day 2 I created using the Coffeecionado stamp set, Warm Hands, Warm Hearts stamp set and Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies from STAMPlorations, one of the Super Sponsors for this blog hop.
I stamped the cup with Versamark ink pad on a white cardstock and heat embossed it with mix of gold embossing powder and holographic glitter embossing. I did it twice to get the bold and thicker effect on the embossed image 🙂 Using Mini MISTI stamping tool is the best way of doing this technique. I cut out the panel using Rectangles Dies from Our Daily Bread Designs, they are one of the Super Sponsors, too.
I colored the cup with Arteza Real Brush Pens and Spectrum Noir Sparkle Brush Pen. They are great to use for coloring and getting extra sparkle on the image at the same time! 🙂 I set it aside to dry while I was working on the card background.
First, I cut out one of the green plaid patterned papers from my stash into a strip and added it on the side of card base. Next is I cut out a green cardstock with the smallest size of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies and added it in the center of the card. And then, I added the watercolored cup panel on top of the green panel.
For the sentiment, I stamped the phrase from Warm Hands, Warm Hearts stamp set with Rhubarb Stalk – Memento Dew Drop Ink on a white cardstock and trimmed it into sentiment strip. I added 3D foam tape just in the middle of the strip cardstock for dimensional effect to it when I glued both sides on the card.
I added some of the snow flakes sentiments to finish this card.
