You Are So Sweet

You know I love coloring and been coloring on several different type of cardstocks and papers. This time I would love to share a card I made with stamping and coloring on Kraft cardstock.

At first, I was thinking how that possible to get a good colors on kraft cardstock. But I tried it anyway 🙂

You Are So Sweet

I stamped the frangipani flowers from Our Daily Bread Designs – Sweet As Perfume on a piece of Kraft Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black. Then I started to color the cluster that is in the middle with the Spectrum Noir Blendable Pencils – Primary Colors. I am impressed with the look how the vibrant of these colors on Kraft cardstock. I decided to just color the one in the middle because I want it to be the spotlight.

Then I die cut the base with Craftin Desert Divas – Fancy Frames Dies. I used the largest and the smallest rectangle dot and dash stitch die. For the card base I embossed the CTMH – Champange cardstock with CTMH – Polkadots Embossing Folder. Then I added the diecut panels on the card base. The one in the middle I added on the card with 3D foam tape to pop it up.

I stamped the sentiment that comes in the same stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black on a piece of CTMH – White Daisy cardstock, cut it into small strip and added it on the card with 3D foam tape for some dimension. I finished my card with some clear sparkle gems from Hampton Arts.

This card has some dimensions but not too bulky to send out 🙂 I keep it mail-friendly.
