Hello everyone! Today is a start for a new week and I hope you all ready for to fill each day with joy, love, laughters, and creativity. School is back and still cold here in Southern Ohio. I try to keep myself and my youngest one busy doing some activities and crafts.
I have a news to share with you today… I am joining Joy Clair 2017 Design Team! So excited and thankful to be part of this new company and amazing team. You can read the team announcement here and see who is in the team, too.
Today also is the Joy Clair New Release Day! Joy Clair releases 4 awesome and beautiful stamp sets for Bible Journaling and Valentine’s Day:
On this blog hop, I would love to share with you a Bible Journaling Page and a card using Treasure – Bible Journaling Stamp Set, one of the new release stamp sets from Joy Clair:
On my Journaling Bible, I created a long bookmark to put inside the page. First, I cut out Canson watercolor paper with the same width and length with the side journal space. Then I created the background with Smooshing technique using Tombow Dual Brush Pens, acetate plastic and water.
Once the background dried well, I heat-embossed the images with Versamark Ink Pad and Gold embossing powder. Then I stamped the sentiment and other images with Versafine Onyx Black Ink Pad with second generation stamping technique.
I added the ribbon and brad using my WRMK Crop-a-dile. And it is done đ
For my card I did the same technique to create the background, but this time I added some Pearl spray mix on it to give it some shine and sparkle. And then I stamped and heat-embossed the gems all around the panel with white embossing powder. Once they all cool done, I die cut the panel with the WRMK Scallop Rectangle nesting dies.
I added them on the card base, first with regular adhesive runner, then the second one with 1 layer of 3D foam tape, and the third one in the middle I added 2 layers of 3D foam tape so they will pop up like steps.
Last step, I heat-embossed the sentiment on a piece of vellum mix of black and glitter embossing powder, then I die cut it with the rectangle die and added it in the middle of the card with vellum adhesive.
And my watercolored, clean and simple card is done. Sorry in the picture it does not look like it shiny. I tried to capture the pearl shine but did not show up really well, but it is really sparkly in real life đ
NOW… IT IS TIME FOR THE GIVEAWAY!
