For us, the month of June this year means Father’s Day, Graduation party, and…. Summer is officially started. Today, I am sharing a special card for a special father.
Father’s Day is one of the special days that I celebrate away from my parents. I can only celebrate them for a far because they live in Indonesia. When I made this card, my thoughts and prayers are for my father. Though he is not right beside me now, but he is always in my heart, thoughts and prayers. I praise God for technology and intetnet! We often video call using Skype and texting using an app that does not cost us extra international texting at all! Super cool, right? 🙂
When I saw this stamp, The Best Dad Ever (CTMH), I was thinking what should I do with it. Masculine is not my strong suit, but I keep challenging myself to make more this type of card. So, this is what I came up. A clean-and-simple card 🙂
I stamped the image with Sapphire Exclusive Ink Pad in the middle of the card base with my MISTI. I stamped twice for a crisp result 🙂 Then on the separate white cardstock, I stamped the image with Black Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad and Ruby Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad. Then using my Non-Stick Micro-Tip Scissors, I fussy cut the hat, mustache and bow tie.
Final step, I added the cut images on top of the stamped image on the card using 3D Foam Tape for extra dimesion.
So, what do you think of my clean and simple, masculine card? 😉
Thank You so much for visiting today and have a blessed day!

Suitable for dads and warm and creative. Not to say dads can’t be, I know my dad is more the no frills type and he’d love this card. I love the 3D effect and crisp look u got by double stamping.

Great design on this CAS card. Thank you for joining our Challenge last week and hope you join us again in our new Challenge beginning today at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving you with an encouragement from God’s Word in Hebrews 3:6 which says, “But Christ is faithful as the Son over God’s house. And we are His house, if we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope of which we boast.” Have a blessed week…
