And… Welcome to Our Daily Bread Designs January New Release Blog Hop! And there is a giveaway for your to enter at the end of the post. Visit Our Daily Bread Design Blog to see the full details on the new stamps, custom die sets and paper collections.

Today I am sharing 2 projects. First, a Bible Journaling Page with Find Refuge, one of the new Bible Journaling stamps.

I added the acrylic paints on my page with old credit card. Acrylic paints dry quickly, but to speed up the drying process, I used my craft heater. And when the paints dried well, I stamped the Bible Journaling stamp with archival ink. Then I highlight the Bible verses and wrote my journal on the top and bottom space with archival ink pen.

My second project is a layered birthday card with the one of the new stamp sets, Seeds of Today. This stamp set is gorgeous!

I created the watercolored panel with my watercolor paints, dried it with craft heater, then I stamped the flower image with archival ink and die cut it with the Rectangle Dies.

I use the Rectangle Dies and Double Stitched Rectangles Dies to create the panels for the layers using the new paper collections: Whimsical Wildflowers Collections and Plum Pizzazz Paper Pad.

For the sentiment, I die cut matching papers from the Plum Pizzazz Paper Pad with Pennant Flags Dies and Double Stitched Pennant Flags Dies.

I used permanent adhesive to add my layers of panels on the card base and use 3D foam to add the pennant sentiment. I finished my card with yellow wrinkle ribbon and purple stickles.

Here are the products I used on my projects today:

Bible Journaling: Psalms 106

Be Thankful! For the LORD is faithful and His love endures forever. We often hear or read this quote on social media posts, flyers, postcards, note cards, or someone text it to you… So many times we can not count it. Especially, even more this Thanskgiving season. But God’s word always and forever endures through seasons and times no matter how many times we have heard.

Psalms 106

“Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!

Who can utter the mighty deeds of the Lord, or declare all his praise? Blessed are they who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times!

Remember me, O Lord, when you show favor to your people; help me when you save them,

that I may look upon the prosperity of your chosen ones, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with your inheritance.” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭106:1-5‬ ‭ESV‬‬)

The first 5 verses from Psalms 106 are the ones that speak to me personally. But I love the story behind these verse that was decribed on the rest of the passage. We can imagine the heart of the psalmist was full of thanksgiving to the LORD who had done great and good things in his live and Israel.

I am thankful for my LORD is faithful and His love endures forever. There is no one like Him. In any circumstances, He shows us his love and faithfulness to take care of us. He never forsake nor forget us.

There is time for us to feel something not fair with our lives, but God is just. He will shows favor and will saves those who call out to him and keep live in righteousness even though the situation is not right.

It is hard to give thanks to the LORD when the situation is hard and unfair. It is hard to give thanks to Him for good things but we did not feel what we received were not good things at all.

But remembering what God has done for us and how He has helped us in the past can help us to see His faithfulness and how much he cares about us. By remembering His goodness shown in our lives will help us to lift up our voice to praise Him and give Him thanks for who He is.

It is not about what He can do for us that we are thankful for. It is for who He is to us that we are thankful for. It is for who we are to Him that we are thankful for!

Let’s Be thankful every day, not only in this Thanksgiving season. Every singlr day we thank God for the life He has planned for us to live as long as we live on earth until the day we see Him face to face.

Be thankful!

Joy Clair October New Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hello crafty friends… Welcome to the Joy Clair October New Release Blog Hop! Today I am joining the Joy Clair team to share projects showcasing the new stamp sets! And I created a Bible Journaling page for this blog hop.

When I read my devotion, I love spending time to do some Bible Journaling, too. I’ve read the Hebrew 11 so many times. Every time I read this passage, I learned something new of who God is and his character. This time, I read from Hebrew 11:9-40. These verses describe how the people who their faith in God died in faith even they did not receive the answer or see what they trusting God to do in their lives.

This is faith. In the last couple of days, I was in the situation where I once again had to see the situation through the faith I have in Him. I thought this was the time He would answer my prayers for a while, but it was not yet.

Faith is a work in progress. By faith I put my trust in His every word spoken in the Bible. I pray and this is my prayer to my Heavenly Father, in whom I put my trust, that He will build my faith, that he will work in me, that he will be my foundation, and that he will give me the desire, strength and power to walk in faith. Only by Him and in Him.

I created my journaling page using Under Construction stamp set:

Scripture Inspiration Challenge – John 14:27

October is here! Cooler weather is also here. Finally, it feels like Fall for sure 🙂 As we are walking into the new month, my prayer for all of us is that we all have the peace knowing that God holds the future and He knows the plan He had for each of us. For He is God and He is good.
I created a Bible Journaling page for the Scripture Inspiration Challenge on John 14:37

Jesus says, “Peace, I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”

29927778092_7feffe627a_z

The peace from the LORD is not the same peace from the world can give to us. The peace from the LORD is something that we can not understand with our human minds. The peace from the LORD will give us the peace in our hearts and minds to go through any circumstances we are in with hope and faith. The peace we need to know that God is there for us.

The peace from the LORD cannot be found in things, wealth, possessions, not even family and friends, 0r even by only going to church.

The peace given by the LORD only can be found in Him. Only can be found in a relation with Him. We will experience His presence.

This is the peace that acknowledge the who God is to us so that our hearts won’t be troubled and afraid.

My prayer today that the peace of the LORD will fill your hearts and minds as you build your relationship with Him and getting to know who He is.

Today also is the day for the new monthly challenge.

Bible Journaling: In Everything, Give Thanks

Giving thanks to the Lord is not only be done in one season, or one time thing only. Giving thanks to GOD is a life style. It is shown in every day life, in what we do, and in what we say. Living with gratitude heart is a beautiful and joyful life.

My devotional reading is from Ephesians 5:20. Apostle Paul reminders us who are believers in Christ to always give thanks and for everything to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. It means in every thing. Big and small blessings we receive every day. In any circumstances we are in, we need to give thanks to God, who loves us with unconditional love, take cares of us and show us grace and mercy no matter what we had done, have done and will do in the future. For me it is not only a reminder, but also a command to live in thanksgiving every singe day and moment of my life.

This is how I added some journal on my ESV Journaling Bible when there is no more space to write on the side journaling space 🙂 Sometimes, God speak more than one from the save verses.

I cut out a large tag size out of Canson 140 lbs. watercolor paper since I am working with watercolor paint. First, I wet my tag with big brush, cover all the tag. Then I picked up the paint with wet brush and added some of the Fall colors using Koi Watercolor paints on the wet tag. Simply just added one color at a time and blend them together. I think this what they call wet-on-wet technique 🙂

Once tag dry completely, I stamped the words and images from the Joy Clair Stamp – Give Thanks stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black ink pad. I used my Faber-Castel pen to write the extra quote and the Bible verse on the arrow. And I scored the top of the tag to give some crips line so I can fold it up and down, then I added my tag on top of the verse I read with Documented Faith Loopty Loop Washi Tape and Documented Faith Heart Squares Washi Tape. Also, I decorated the bottom of the journaling column with one of the Documented Faith – Doodle Scallop Washi Tape.

Also, I am sharing this Bible Journaling page on Joy Clair blog. Hope you can visit me there, too!

I hope you are inspired today and THANK YOU so much for stopping by today. Have a fabulous blessed day!
