Gold and Bronze For Fall Cards

Gracillie Design

Hello everyone… I have been looking for some inspiration for Fall and I saw lots of gold and bronze color at craft store and Pinterest. I think these are my favorite Fall colors this year. And today, I have couple fall cards with gold and bronze colors.

I have couple fall cards with gold and bronze colors. More details on my blog https://helengullett.com/?p=15630 Thank you!

On both of my cards today I use the Fall themed digital stamp sets from Graciellie Design. And…on this first card I use the Obsessively Grateful Digital Stamp Set.

I use kraft cardstock as the card base. I added some of the VersaMagic Cloud White on the cardbase using sponge to muted the kraft color.

For the lattice background, I cut out a piece DCVW Bronze Metallic cardstock with ODBD Lattice Background Die, after that I run it through my die cutting machine one more time with rubber mat to emboss it.

I printed one of the leaves on a mixed media paper with inkjet printer. Next, I dried the printed image with craft heater and then I colored it with Arteza Real Brush Pens and waterbrush. I blended several colors of red, orange, magenta, and dark green to get the dry leaf color. After the watercoloring process, I dried the leaf and fussy cut it with scissors.

This step is how I created the leaf look like dry leaf and bit curly. I put the leaf on couple stacked of paper towel. I sprayed the leaf with water using the distress sprayer, and then dabbed of the water after couple seconds. I dried it again with craft heater. I let the leaf get curly with the drying process. And then, I sprayed it again with the mixture of Gold Pearl Powder and water using mini mister. I covered the leaf with the gold spray and dried it with craft heater again. So… I get the sparkly dry look leaf.

For the sentiment, I printed it on a white cardstock, cut it into a banner and I tucked it on the leaf, and secured it with adhesive glue.

I added both leaf and sentiment on the card with dries-clear adhesive glue. I only glue the middle of the leaf and leave the edge curl up for extra dimension.

On my second card, I use the Harvest Blessing digital stamp set. This is her newly released stamp set this month.

I printed the flowers on a white paper with laser printer. Next, I added the Deco Foil Gold Sheet on top of the printed paper, gold side up. And then I put both paper and gold sheet in the middle of parchment paper and run them through my laminating machine. I pre-heated the machine about 10-15 minutes. After the paper came out of the other side, I let it cool down and then peeled off the gold sheet off… and ta-da! I got a gold-foiled flower background!

I cut out another piece of the DCVW Bronze Metallic cardstock with the largest die from ODBD Pierced Rectangles Dies. And then I cut out the gold-foiled paper with the smaller die from the same set. I added them on the card with some of the dries-clear adhesive glue.

For the sentiment, I printed it on a white cardstock and cut it with one of the ODBD Large Banner Dies. I wrapped some of the natural burlap twine on top of the banner, and added the sentiment banner on the card with the dries-clear adhesive glue.

I hope you all enjoy these two CAS, gold and bronze Fall themed cards today. What is your favorite Fall theme colors this year?
